Did I do the right thing?

URGH! I'm soo confused.

scenario: Your friend hasn't been in touch with anyone for over a day and she said she was coming home, then never turns up. Your friends parents call the police, and then call you because you are her best friend and you know where she might be.

The place where she might be is this cagey guy's flat, who you don't really get on with. By now you and her mam and dad are really worried because no one seems to know where your friend is and her phone's turned off.

Dilemma: Do you lead the police to the guy's flat? Even though you know he won't like it, and neither will you friend if she's there? and you suspect there may be illegal things going on, things that could get your friends into a lot of trouble?

F-list! Help! I'm really confused.

Have you heard anything back yet? Perhaps rather than spending the cops around, is there some mutual (suitably tough) friend you could send round first? Or that you could go around there with, as backup? I would say don't go alone - but I think you're friend needs to know that people are worried about her and want to hear from her. I guess also her parents have brought the cops into it, so they must be worried, and I think you shouldn't withhold information... though I can see why you want to. But if she just had her mobile on then, you know. Well, she has half brought this on herself. Sorry if that sounds too harsh.

I hope you are doing ok though. *hugs* :( Keep us updated, yeah?

thanks hun :) she's back home now, and the guy who owns the flat is really pissed off at me but at least my friends safe.

In the end the police came to the door and asked me where he lived so I went with them to the flat. She wasn't there, but she arrived home as the policemen were bringing me back

suffice to say the guy who owms the flat is VERY annoyed but meh! I can't really be arsed to care. No one got in trouble and my friends home so I guess that's the most important thing right?

thanks for the advice *Hugs* you icon is drool-worthy!! xx

oh good. I'm glad it worked out in the end. I'd say don't worry about the guy - your friend is more important!

i was aiming for "gives you a SRS look" instead of drool-worthy with the icon! LOL, fail! ;D
